By Vi Burgess, assistant editor On Friday, Jan. 9, the boys basketball team played the College Station High School Cougars at CSHS. The score was close throughout the game, with each team taking turns in the lead, but CSHS won 63-58. [Show as slideshow]
Things were looking bad for the Lady Tigers at the beginning of their second game of the season against Willis on Dec. 16. However, after trailing behind the opponents for the first quarter, Consol quickly took the lead and held it for the rest of the game, finishing with an easy 60-39 win.
On Dec. 19, after the semester’s final day of school, Consol’s girls basketball team faced crosstown rivals Bryan at home. The Lady Tigers jumped out to a lead in the first quarter and held it throughout, winning comfortably, 69-48. Check out a gallery below: [Show as slideshow]
