Lady Tigers finish 2014 with 69-48 win over Bryan
On Dec. 19, after the semester’s final day of school, Consol’s girls basketball team faced crosstown rivals Bryan at home. The Lady Tigers jumped out to a lead in the first quarter and held it throughout, winning comfortably, 69-48. Check out a gallery below: [Show as slideshow]

A&M Consolidated and College Station played each other twice in district play, and each team won its away match. This rivalry needed to break its stalemate, and in a crazy turn of events, the two local teams got to settle their score in the most fitting of ways: a playoff game.

On Oct. 24, A&M Consolidated played its first varsity football game against rival College Station. Consol had a strong start and led 17-10 at the half, but the Cougars clawed their way up to a score of 31-31 in the fourth quarter and subsequently kicked a field goal with 25 seconds remaining in the game, making the final score 34-31 CSHS.
A&M Consolidated volleyball loses 3-2 to CSHS
In the penultimate game of the season, the Consol volleyball team was defeated by the CSHS Cougars in a close 3-2 loss. The Tigers fought valiantly in front of a packed gymnasium, keeping the score close and the mood tense until the final point.
