The Supreme Court has ruled in a 5-4 vote Friday morning that the Constitution guarantees the rights of marriage equality, authorizing same-sex marriage in all 50 states. Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen Breyer and Anthony Kennedy voted in favor of the ruling, which was delivered by Kennedy, although the four dissenting justices each wrote an opinion.
The nation is celebrating after hearing the verdict largely through the trending Twitter hashtag #lovewins, but it may be a little early for celebration in Brazos County, where same-sex marriage licences will not be issued until forms are ordered. Still, several Consol students have recieved the news positively:

"But you can get married! The problem is solved" is what we'll start hearing. Issues like job security, health benefits for trans people?
