In a second straight shutout, the A&M Consolidated Varsity volleyball team beat the Tomball Lady Cougars with a defying 3-0 win.
Consol dominated all three games, winning each by at least 5 points. The Tigers won the first game with a score of 25-17, after slowly increasing their lead throughout the game and making several impressive plays. In the beginning of the second game the Tigers and Lady Cougars maintained a close score, but Consol pulled ahead at the end and won the game 25-20. In the third game the Tigers sustained a substantial lead throughout the set, eventually winning the game with a reassuring score of 25-14, beating the Tomball Lady Cougars in only three games.
Haley Slocum lead the team in kills with a total of 10, while Christi Corkan had the most assists, at 13. Additionally, Paige Kopetsky led the team in Digs with a total of 19, and Kelly Karstadt led the team with 3 blocks.
The Tigers overall record is now 21-11, and the Tigers hope to see supporters at their next game at Rudder, at 6:00 P.M. on Friday.
