- According to Texas A&M University and The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the A&M student suspected to have the coronavirus has tested negative. A student at Baylor University has also been suspected of the virus and has been asked to isolate themselves to prevent spreading the coronavirus.
- Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna died in a helicopter crash on Sunday, January 26. Many have responded to his death on social media and have wished the best for the NBA player’s friends and family. Seven others died in the crash including John, Keri and Alyssa Altobelli, Christina Mauser, Ara Zobayan and Sarah and Payton Chester.
