In the beginning of the rivalry game, the Lady Tigers fought strong in defense and offense, keeping the score 0-0 for most of the first half. Their endless fight paid off when junior Abbye Vessell scored a goal at the end of the first half, making the score 1-0. With the excitement and momentum going into the second half, the Lady Tigers continued to have a strong defense. However, when the score board went down to the last second, the Lady Tigers got a foul in the penalty box. This gave the Lady Cougars the opportunity to get a free kick and they successfully scored the point, ending the game 1-1.
