Halloween came late to the baseball diamond this year. On Wednesday, November 2, the Tiger baseball team hosted their first ever charity baseball game. Proceeds & donations from the game went to the Beau Means Business Foundation, a local non-profit organization seeking to increase awareness and help families of those with cystic fibrosis.
Seniors Sam Ramirez and John Altman captained the Gray team with senior Austin Fowler heading the Maroon Goons. After three uneventful innings, Senior Burl Carraway scored the first run of the night, though his team eventually fell to Ramirez and Altman’s 2-1. Both varsity and junior varsity players got time on the field and switched roles throughout the game.
