1. On Saturday, 83 North Dakota Pipeline protesters were arrested for charges ranging from assaulting an officer to criminal trespass. Pepper spray was used on the protesters, who have been protesting the construction of a 1, 100 mile long pipeline that ‘threatens water supply and sacred sites’.
2. AT&T has officially announced its intentions to buy Time Warner Inc for $85.4 billion on Saturday. This deal will officially give AT&T control of HBO, CNN, and the Warner Bros film studios.
3. Donald Glover was officially cast on Friday as young Lando Calrissian in the much anticipated Star Wars ‘Rogue One’ prequel film.
4. Florida Officials are reporting more than 1,000 dead in Haiti and 33 in Florida in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew.
5. In Western Australia, paleontologists are reporting the discovery of a new of dinosaur. Dubbing it Savannasaurus, this new species roamed the earth during the Cretaceous period and is estimated to have been about half the length of a basketball court.
6. On Wednesday night the final presidential debate took place in Las Vegas and was moderated by Fox News anchor Chris Wallace. Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton’s all-white pantsuit has generated more hype than the debate itself.

8. In a Haitian prison on Sunday 174 inmates escaped after killing a guard. Of the escaped convicts, only a dozen have been recovered.
9. Two years after the Antares rocket model exploded after launching, the rocket itself launched on Tuesday successfully and arrived at the International Space Station on Sunday. The rocket carried a Cygnus cargo spacecraft that delivered supplies for the crew and equipment for scientific experiments.
10. On Sunday a California bus driver drove his tour bus into the back of a big rig, killing 13 in the resulting crash. An inspection of the bus from the previous year reveals no mechanical deficiencies.
