On Wednesday, February 5th, seven senior athletes from A&M Consolidated High School signed with several colleges. The event included a slideshow with childhood photos of the athletes, speeches given by coaches about each senior and lots of photos with friends and family.
Senior Haley Slocum is going to Texas A&M University for volleyball, senior Brooke Shirley is enrolled at Stephen F. Austin University for soccer, senior Jasmyn Steels is going to Northwestern State University for track, senior Chad Nguyen is playing tennis at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, senior Tyri Merchant is heading to Texas A&M University Kingsville for football, senior Will Raffield is going to West Texas A&M for football and senior Kennon Williams is playing football at Southwestern University.
