A field goal from senior David Gan brought the first quarter to a close end, with Consol leading Rudder 10-9. In the second quarter, the Tigers dealt with several Rudder interceptions, but scored two touchdowns in the last 35 seconds and brought the score to 31-12.
After celebrating the graduating seniors during the halftime show, the Tigers started the second half strong. The Rangers were left with few scoring opportunities as the Tigers continued to widen their lead. Consol cruised to their victory with a total 49 consecutive points.
