In the third game of the season, A&M Consolidated played Elkins High School at Tigerland stadium. Despite good plays and high energy, Consol fell to the Knights 34-14.

After Elkins managed a touchdown with no extra point late in the first quarter, Consol quickly responded with seven points of their own, but their lead was short-lived.

Elkins regained a tense lead by the end of the second half, leading 13-7 by the end of the second quarter.

Unfortunately, running back Tyri Merchant was unable to play for most of the second half, and after multiple penalties against the Tigers, the Knights managed a score of 20-7 by the end of the third quarter.

Two touchdowns from the Knights and a quarter later, quarterback Mason Hickson managed a significant pass to sophomore Trevor Williams, but it wasn’t enough to put the Tigers in the lead.
