What is the scariest thing that you have ever experienced?

In the spring of last year, I was flying back from Georgia. Our plane was caught in the middle of a thunder and lightning storm.

Outside, I could tell it was really windy. There were lightning strikes all around us and rain was hitting the window extremely hard. Everything was really loud, bumpy and scary during that part of the flight and I wanted to cry. I was terrified because I also have a phobia of flying on airplanes.
