The orchestra performed a variety of songs at their annual pops concert on Thursday, May 1. Not only was it the last concert of the year, but also the last high school concert ever for the graduating seniors.

The auditorium was filled as parents and friends gathered to support the seniors and the rest of the orchestra in their final concert of the year. The orchestra performed a wide range of familiar songs–from Frozen’s “Let it Go” to Katy Perry’s “Firework.”

Senior Kristy Lee expressed bittersweet feelings towards her final orchestra concert.

“At first, I was like, ‘Yay! It’s the last concert!'” Lee said. “But then, it was like, ‘No, it’s the last concert.’ I’m definitely feeling ambivalent, but it [was] still exciting.”

If you missed the concert, don’t worry. Listen to a few of the orchestra’s renditions of popular songs:

Let it Go (Idina Menzel from Frozen) – performed by the varsity orchestra

Good Life (OneRepublic) – performed by the varsity orchestra
