Sophomores embarked on a nature field trip to Texas A&M’s Ecology and Natural Resources Teaching Area on Thursday, April 10. The trip concluded their nature unit, which aimed to reflect on and appreciate nature’s beauty.
Students engaged in various activities to learn about the ecosystems and food webs. Afterwards, they explored on their own in an attempt to connect to nature.
“Breathing clean air and being free was definitely the best part,” sophomore Heathryn Livingston said. “We climbed trees and watched everyone else walking below us, quite oblivious to theirĀ surroundings.”
