Gallery: Students brighten hallways with yarn-bombing project

 by Annie Zhang, news editor

In celebration of National Art Day on March 7, the art class decided to yarn-bomb the school—that is, to cover the railings and stairs with brightly colored yarn.

To accomplish their feats, students participated in finger weaving yards and yards of colorful yarn, which they then tied to the railings of the staircases.

“Finger weaving was an easy and fun experience,” sophomore Diya Girimaji said. “And the yarn definitely adds more color and fun to [Consol].”
