So what’s your past with volleyball?

I’ve been playing volleyball for four years. It was better than any other sport I’d played before so I just started playing that and it was something I was interested in.

What about it interested you?

I just liked it a lot, I guess.

Are you involved in any other extracurricular activities?

I’m in FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athetes), if that counts as a club.

Can you think of any story or event that reminds you why you play volleyball?

Just in particular I like having my friends on the team and whenever I have a really good game it just reminds me why I particularly like volleyball.

Do you have any role models on the team?

Our setter Carmen Malavé. She was a good role model to me just because she’s nice to everyone, and she’s the student body president but she’s still found time to play volleyball.

What’s your favorite thing about volleyball?

Definitely hitting–when you go up and spike the ball on the other team, because you get to hit it hard and it’s just a rush of energy.

When is your next home game?

Tomorrow (September 24) at Consol against College Park.
