This morning, much of the freshman class walked the halls of the school for the first time during Consol’s first annual Fish Camp. The students who attended were given tours of the school, opportunities to interact with members of over twenty clubs and organizations, and a look into Consol’s school spirit during a mock pep rally.
The Roar interviewed five freshmen about their thoughts on the upcoming school year:
Natasha Williams (far left):
Q: What are you excited about for the coming school year?
A: I look forward to a great year and messing with my sister in the hallways.
Courtney Skains:
Q: What makes you nervous about starting school?
A: Acceptance into certain groups.
Q: What about what you’re excited about?
A: I’m excited to be here.
Brett Leopold:
Q: What makes you nervous about starting freshman year?
A: Finding my way around the school.
Rachel Lamb:
Q: What are you looking forward to about the coming school year?
A: Taking journalism and seeing my friends.
Ben Bradshaw:
Q: What are you excited about for the coming school year?
A: I’m excited about [being in] the choir.
