Dr. Suess is a beloved author of mine and I was super excited when Green Eggs and Ham was made into a show on Netflix. I’ve grown up with reading Dr. Seuss, and I was a little skeptical, at first, about how well they would transition the story into TV format. However, after the first episode I was hooked. I enjoyed how they stayed true to the characters personalities and still put them through new unique situations. There are always going to be issues with a show and how they adapt it but I feel like they made it into a type of story that all age groups can relate to. Dr. Seuss had been a writer who could create children’s stories that anyone could connect with, as well as teach valuable life lessons. In my opinion the adaptation was a good idea because it mixes the old with a new modern twist on Dr. Seuss.
