Juniors participate in Gatsby-themed party

by Olivia Conway, online editor

On Monday, the Ryan Goodwyn’s and Michael Williams’s AP English III classes concluded their study of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby with a 1920s themed party. The students came to class dressed in period-inspired clothing and enjoyed food and 1920s music to relax before final exams. Gatsby Day is a popular tradition at Consol that many students look forward to since freshman year.

“The best part of Gatsby Day was seeing everyone’s outfits and hairstyles,” junior Mikayla Becker said. “Gatsby Day has definitely been one of my favorite days in English so far.”
