by Jennifer Zhan, senior editor

On Friday, March 3, the Lady Tigers faced off against the Waco High Lions at home. Tied 2-2 with 20 minutes left in the first half, the game seemed like it would be close. The Tigers took the lead with 13 minutes left, ending the first half 3-2.

Just over 10 minutes into the second half, the Tigers scored again. The momentum carried them to another goal within just a few minutes, widening the margin to 5-2. Afterwards, several saves by both team’s goalies kept the score at a standstill. In the last two minutes of the match, the Lions scored their final goal, bringing Consol to a 5-3 win.
