Boys basketball defeats Magnolia 71-60 in first home game of season

In the first home game of the season, Tiger basketball took on Magnolia on Tuesday night and showed promise of a strong season.

Senior Layton Dimery scored the first two shots of the game, a two and three-pointer, respectively, and established a strong lead along with other starters seniors Grant Murphy and Tre Flowers, along with juniors Josue Cuero and Josh Reynolds. After an aggressive second quarter, the Tigers held the lead 43-24 at halftime and remained ahead for the rest of the game.
