1. Today, 88-year-old King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand, the longest reigning monarch,  has been in an unstable condition since October of 2014 after his gallbladder was removed.

2. Today in Atlantic City Donald Trump’s Taj Mahal closed. It was bought by billionaire Carl Icahn in 2014. Due to the strike of the 1,000 employees three months before, 3,000 workers are now without work.

3. After the Second Presidential Debate, a Hillary Clinton versus Donald Trump poll was taken by NBC News/ Wall Street Journal  showing that Hillary Clinton leading by 46% compared to Donald Trump who only has 35%, as a tape was leaked showing about how he boasted about his celebrity status to grope women.

4. On Saturday, a Twitter user discovered the way of taking a mirror selfie while clapping his hands. More than 170 thousand retweets have occurred after this picture showing how they are also able to show these successful accomplishments.

5. On October 7th, Facebook has activated a  new tool, “Safety Check”. The tool was created after hurricane Matthew to help people to let their friends and families know that they are safe.

6. Recently hurricane Matthew also hit Haiti, killing more than 470 men. 

7. On October 6th, a lawsuit Center for Science in the Public Interest has stated that ‘Naked’ Juice has been giving false information on the label of their juice boxes. The cost for these juices are very high, but aren’t getting for what they paid for.

8. On October 4,  Joey Julius, a kicker on the Pennsylvania state football team, revealed that he has gone under treatment for his binge eating disorder for more than a decade. After his post on Facebook revealing his disorder to the public,  more than 5,000 people liked his post for the honesty and courage he displayed.

9. On October 3, American soccer coach, Bob Bradley became the first American to coach a major European soccer team known as Swansea City.

10. A federal judge has given Florida’s state voters an extension deadline due to the wakening of hurricane Matthew. The original deadline was Tuesday, but Hillary Clinton convinced them to extend the deadline.
