The Lady Tigers’ basketball team took on the CSHS Cougars tonight in a fast paced back-and-forth game. The Tigers started off behind, letting CSHS get a couple quick baskets. The deficit slowly increased, and the Tigers ended the half trailing 23-17.
Late in the 3rd quarter, the Tigers managed to tie the game again thanks to two back-to-back fast breaks. The Tigers took the lead early on in the 4th quarter, which gradually grew as the Cougars were forced to foul in effort to stop the game clock, giving the Tigers ample free throw opportunities. The game ended with the Lady Tigers victorious, 57 – 48. The team is now 24-9 overall and 10-2 in district.
