A&M Consolidated High School’s varsity football team started tonight’s game against the Caney Creek Panthers strong, making their first touchdown within the first few minutes of the game. However, the Panthers quickly retaliated with a touchdown of their own, bringing the score to 6-6. The Tigers scored four more touchdowns during the first quarter, ending with a 33-6 lead on the Panthers. The second quarter began with a bang, as Layton Dimery completed a 36 yard pass, bringing the score to 39-6 just two minutes into the quarter. The Tigers ended the second quarter 54-6.

After both bands and Color Guards performed, the homecoming court was brought onto the field, and last year’s Homecoming Queen Morgan Love crowned Haley Slocum as her successor. This year’s Homecoming Queen and King are Slocum and Zacch “Bitty” Ransom.

In the second half, the Tigers scored one more touch down while the defense successfully prevented Caney Creek from scoring any points. The game ended with the Tigers leading by over fifty points, 61 – 6.

Come out and support the Tigers at CSHS next Friday.
