Here’s this week’s rundown.

MONDAY, Mar. 2

  • Mondays are a drag you’d probably rather forget. Here’s something you shouldn’t: the ACLU’s pointers on what to do if you’re stopped by the police.
  • All WEEK Order your Friend of the Roar t-shirt by the end of the week! Just find any Roar staffer and they’ll hook you up for just ten bucks.

TUESDAY, Mar. 3

  • ALL DAY | IT’S FREE PANCAKE DAY AT IHOP!
  • 6:30 p.m. | Cheer on the girls soccer team as they play Caney Creek at home.

WEDNESDAY, Mar. 4

  • 3:45 p.m. | You’re done with school again! Here’s our movie recommendation of the week. It’s called “Akira,” and it’s gruesome enough to make any managing editor think nukes are bad business. But actually, this movie is so so cool.
  • Washington, DC may have legalized marijuana, but they’re no Amsterdam.
  • 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 pm | Don’t forget to show up to your National Honor Society Inductions. What would your college app be without NHS!?

THURSDAY, Mar. 5

  • Now that we’re on the downhill stretch, it’s time for you to check out our BEATLES SONG OF THE WEEK. News editor Aaron Ross feels that this version of “Get Back” sums up this week because it’s fast and furious, just like life.
  • Would you survive a bear attack? You might regret not knowing.
  • 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 pm | National Honor Society Inductions again. Same joke.

FRIDAY, Mar. 6

  • 7:00 p.m. | Support the boys soccer team at home as they face off, yet again, with the Cougars.
  • 7:00 p.m. | Meanwhile the girls team will play the Cougars away, so figure out how to shuttle back and forth.

SATURDAY, Mar. 7

  • WIKIPEDIA PAGE OF THE WEEK: THE GREAT LAWN CHAIR PILOT
  • 9:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. Flee from the undead in StuCo’s zombie run! Sign ups are during all lunches. It’s a ten dollar fee, but that includes a t-shirt. The course is out at the bus barn (it’s called the transportation center, officially).
  • 9:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m. If you’re out of cash, you can go to the Brazos Valley Cajun Fest, you bum. Admission is free, but it’s a bit of a drive out to the Brazos Center.

SUNDAY, Mar. 8
