“They came for the party with a simplicity of heart that was its own ticket of admission.”
And so began the Great Gatsby party, where English III AP students gathered to celebrate the end of the Gatsby unit. Students dressed in 1920s style clothing, brought finger food, danced to the Charleston and drank champagne, or in this case, sparkling grape juice.
“It was a good idea to end this unit,” junior Marley Hays said. “It was really fun.”
