In spite of pre-game predictions citing that the Lobos would win over the Tigers by 10 points, the Tigers made sure the exact opposite happened.
In a cool and windy Midlothian stadium, the varsity football team clinched an exciting victory over Longview High School, with a final score of 45-35. They will advance to quarterfinals as part of the Elite Eight–one of the final eight teams remaining in the playoffs.
Next Saturday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m., A&M Consolidated will take on Lake Travis High School at Temple ISD Stadium in the hopes of advancing to state semifinals.
