Science class sparks interest in biotechnology with hands-on labs

The biotechnology class taught by science teacher Matt Young completed a lab Nov. 14 that compared copper sulfate solutions of varying concentrations. The class is lab-based and intends to prepare students for careers in biotechnology and similar science-related fields.
